hi guys. meet Maggie.

Maggie belongs to a couple I know. she needs help and they can’t afford it. please read.

My girlfriend Viki’s cat Maggie was attacked by another animal this past week.  Her stomach was torn open, paw broken, and several nasty leg wounds… as cats are wont to do when injured, she hid for several days, which led to abscesses and bugs and nasty stuff… Coming out of hiding she collapsed on Viki’s doorstep and her roommates rushed her to the emergency vet.

After $832.50 for her first night and $472.70 for her weekend stay at the emergency vet, it’s now looking like she will need to stay at the vet for another 2 weeks, which will cost at least $2533.42 (assuming she does not need further treatment - but there is a possibility they may want to amputate her paw.)  

Viki is quickly running out of money so it’s looking like she may have to put her down even though she would likely recover if the treatment was more affordable :(

If anyone at all can help  Viki, her roommates, and I would both really appreciate it.
